On a rocky island far from shore, a lighthouse slowly loses sight of why it was placed there. Loneliness sets in. The light grows dim. Then — through a quiet, transformative encounter with the Light Keeper — it remembers.
This is Linda Gallagher's allegorical story of the universal journey through forgetting and back into remembrance. It speaks to anyone who has ever felt lost, purposeless, or separated from something they once knew to be true about themselves.
About the Author
A life dedicated to truth, light, love, and service
Linda D. Gallagher has spent more than four decades walking the path of spiritual practice, recovery, and inner transformation. Her own journey — which began with hitting bottom at thirty and finding her way through Alcoholics Anonymous — is woven into every page of this story.
She is the founder and spiritual director of A Center of Freedom, a nondenominational spiritual community in Martinez, California, established in 1990. A singer, teacher, author, and addictions counselor, her work in music ministry and personal transformation has reached audiences across the country and around the world.
